DWI, Fraud, Warrant Arrests Reported In Princeton
Princeton Police released the latest blotter.
PRINCETON, NJ — Arrests for driving while intoxicated, fraud and outstanding warrants were reported recently in Princeton.
Princeton Police Blotter:
On Feb. 27 at 11:36 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on State Road for multiple motor vehicle violations, the driver, Juwan Shelton, 29, of Plainfield, was found to be a NewJersey Wanted Person in addition to having two outstanding warrants. Shelton was arrested, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Shelton was released after satisfying conditions imposed by the Mercer County Probation Office as well as being released on his own recognizance pending new court dates in Freehold Municipal Court and Raritan Township Municipal Court.

On Feb. 29 at 11:28 a.m.: Patrols investigated a report of an people using fake documents to open a financial account at a bank on Nassau Street. Subsequent investigation found that Issa Doudoulgou, 42, of Bronx, New York, used fake documents to try to open an account that did not contain his pedigree information. Doudoulgou was placed under arrest, talked to police headquarters, and charged with theft of identity, displaying a fraudulent passport, possession of fraudulent passports, tampering with public records, forgery, possession of stolen credit cards, and false statements to obtain fraudulent credit card. Doudoulgou’s associate, Abdoul Zoungrana, 33, of Bronx, New York, was also arrested, taken to police headquarters, and charged with conspiracy for the following underlying offenses, theft of identity, tampering with public records, and forgery. After processing, both Doudoulgou and Zoungrana were taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center.
On March 2 at 2:56 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, the driver, Kaben Figueroa Ferrer, 37, of Princeton, hindered his own apprehension by providing a false name to police. Figueroa-Ferrer was also found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated in addition to having an outstanding warrant out of the Ewing Township Municipal Court. Figueroa-Ferrer was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, and charged with driving while intoxicated and hindering apprehension. Figueroa-Ferrer was later turned over to officers from the Ewing Township Police Department after he was unable to post bail.
