DWI, Theft, Fraud Highlight Princeton Police Report

Princeton police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — The following information was provided by Princeton Police. Incidents are merely accusations. Those accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Richard Gesualdi, 33, of Neptune, was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a stop on the 100 block of Washington Road for a traffic violation on May 15 at 12:42 p.m. He was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released with several summonses and a pending court date.

On May 16 at 8:25 a.m., Princeton recreation employees reported that the phrase "Han Dynasty Forever!!” had been written on the water fountain and the north facing exterior wall in the Grover Park public restroom. There are no suspects at this time.

Elijah Manning, 25, of Princeton, was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a stop for several traffic offenses on the 100 block of Quaker Road on May 17 at 11:54 p.m. Manning was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and subsequently released to a sober adult with several motor vehicle summonses with pending court dates.

A CAT mini excavator worth between $75,000 and $100,000 was stolen from a construction site on the 100 block of Basin Street sometime between 9:30 a.m. on May 17 and 6 a.m. on May 18.

A man reported that two credit cards were opened using his private information without his authorization. The person purchased a total of $37,776 in merchandise using the cards.

Nicholas Schiazza, 30, of Philadelphia, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a stop for a traffic violation on the 200 block of North Harris on May 19 at 9:49 a.m. Schiazza was transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released with several summonses and a pending court date.

Naimiah Beyah, 40, of Ewing, was found to have an active ATS warrant out of Ewing Township Municipal Court in the amount of $114 following a random license plate inquiry on the 600 block of Great Road on May 20 at 7:52 a.m. Beyah was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and released upon posting the bail.

At 12:29 a.m. on May 20, police were called to the area of the 100 block of Wilson Road to investigate a suspicious incident. Subsequent to the investigation, police learned several juveniles were drinking alcoholic beverages. One juvenile was arrested for possession of marijuana. All juveniles involved were released to their parents.

Gerald Araya, 37, of Rocky Hill, was found to have an active ATS warrant out of Bordentown Municipal Court in the amount of $500 following a random license plate inquiry on the 100 block of Nassau Street on May 21 at 5:50 p.m. Araya was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was processed and released upon posting the bail.

Natasha Willis, 25, of Trenton, was found to have an active warrant for her arrest out of Lawrence Township Municipal Court in the amount of $600 following a stop for a traffic violation on the 700 block of Mercer Street on May 21 at 12:56 a.m. Willis was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and subsequently released with motor vehicle summonses and a pending court date upon the posting of her bail. In the same incident, 25-year-old Ahmad Thompson, of Princeton, was a rear-seat passenger not wearing a seat belt. He was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of Lawrence Township Municipal Court in the amount of $228. Thompson was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and subsequently released with motor vehicle summonses and a pending court date upon posting his bail.

On May 22, a woman reported she was deceived and scammed out of $7,990 by an unknown actor claiming to be an FBI agent working with the IRS.

On May 22, a child’s bike was reported stolen from the back patio of his property on the 100 block of East Merwick Court. The bike is a grey and orange Raleigh worth over $200.
