DWI, Theft Highlight Princeton Police Report

Princeton police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — The following information was provided by the Princeton Police Department. All incidents are merely accusations. Those accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.

A backpack containing eyeglasses, sunglasses, a Macbook Pro laptop and a pocket knife was stolen at the Ivy Inn between 11 p.m. and midnight on July 28. The backpack had been left near the pool tables, and was gone when the owner returned to retrieve it. The total value of the loss is place at $820.

Shawn Studwell, 24, of Glen Gardner, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) following an accident on the 100 block of Spring Street on Aug. 4 at 11:11 p.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and released to a sober adult

Jerson Davila, 19, of Lawrenceville, was charged with possession of CDS and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop for failure to obey a traffic signal on the 400 block of Witherspoon Street on Aug. 4 at 9:16 p.m. Two juveniles were also in the car at the time of the stop. All three were taken to police headquarters, where the juveniles were processed and turned over to their respective parents. Davila was processed, issued several motor vehicle and complaint summonses with a pending court date and released on his own recognizance.

Tina Claudio, 40, of Hamilton Township, as arrested on an active warrant out of Lawrence Township Municipal Court in the amount of $89 following a random license plate inquiry and traffic stop on the 100 block of Bayard Lane on Aug. 4 at 7:05 p.m. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed and released on her own recognizance.

Adolfo Yuman, 62, of Adelphi, Md., was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) following a hit-and-run accident on the 100 block of Green Street on Aug. 6 at 6:23 p.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and released to a sober adult.
