DWI, Theft, Shoplifting Reported In Princeton

Princeton Police reported making multiple arrests on charges of driving while intoxicated, shoplifting, outstanding warrants and more.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported making multiple arrests on charges of driving while intoxicated, shoplifting, outstanding warrants and more.

Princeton Police blotter:

On Dec. 26 at 2:58 p.m.: A Loomis Court resident reported that the check they mailed was stolen, altered, and later deposited into a different account than intended. The check was made out for $626.92 and was changed to $4,500.80.

On Dec. 30 at 5:56 p.m.: The complainant reported that a man stole an iPhone 7 from their store in the 100 block of Witherspoon Street on Dec. 29. The suspect was described as a black man, 25 to 30 years old, wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants. The value of the phone is $295.

On Jan. 1 at 1:32 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Quaker Road for speeding and failing to keep right, the driver, Steven Moore, 32, of Lawrenceville was found to be driving while intoxicated. Moore was placed under arrest and was later released to a sober adult.

On Jan. 2 at 9:33 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Houghton Road for a random plate inquiry hit, the driver, Sang Lee, 48, of Princeton was found to have an active warrant out of South Brunswick for$500. Lee was placed under arrest and was later released after posting her bail.

On Jan. 3 at 4:09 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on the 900 block of Herrontown Road for failing to maintain lamps, the driver, Shane Davidson, 27, of Wall was found to be driving while suspended and had an active warrant out of Old Bridge Twp. for $500. Davidson was placed under arrest and was later released after posting his bail.

On Jan. 4 at 3:16 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on S. Harrison Street for speeding, the driver, Joey Thomas, 31, of Trenton was found to be driving while suspended and had an active warrant out of West Windsor for $1,000. Thomas was placed under arrest and was ultimately transported to Mercer County Correctional Facility in default of bail.
