DWI, Warrants Highlight Princeton Police Report
Princeton police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — The following information was provided by the Princeton Police Department. All incidents are merely accusations. Those accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
John Carazzai, 51, of Lawrenceville, was found to have an active warrant in the amount of $2,500 out of Trenton Municipal Court following a driver’s license verification for John’s Law on Valley Road on July 7 at 10:59 p.m. Carazzai was arrested, processed and released on his own recognizance by the Trenton Police Department with a new court date.
Hector Mata, 39, of Trenton, was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), possession of CDS and possession of CDS drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop for driving on a suspended license in the 200 block of Witherspoon Street on July 7 at 7:21 p.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and subsequently released to a sober adult.

Justin Talamini, 43, of Philadelphia, Pa., was arrested for having an active warrant out of Hamilton Municipal Court in the amount of $300 following a traffic stop for an overweight vehicle on the 100 block of Stockton Street on July 8 at 1:24 p.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and subsequently released with a motor vehicle summons and a pending court date after posting bail.
Samantha Rechtman, 23, of Ewing, was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) after she was stopped for driving on the wrong side of the road and failure to observe a traffic signal on the 100 block of Nassau Street on July 8 at 5:03 a.m. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date and subsequently released to a sober adult.

Christopher Gudknecht, 45, of Philadelphia, Pa., was arrested on a $1,800 warrant out of Gloucester City Municipal Court and hindering apprehension after a vehicle in which he was a passenger was stopped for an overweight vehicle violation on the 100 block of Mercer Street on July 9 at 12:37 p.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued a summons with a pending court date and released on his own recognizance.
Carlos Caraballo, 35, of Edison, was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and possession of CDS cocaine following a traffic stop for running a stop sign and speeding on the 1000 block of Princeton-Kingston Road on July 10 at 12:37 a.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date, a complaint summons with a pending court date, and subsequently released to a sober adult.
