DWI, Warrants Highlight Princeton Police Report

Princeton police release their activity report.

PRINCETON, NJ — The following information was provided by the Princeton Police Department. Incidents are merely accusations. Those accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Kathiresa Palaniappan, 54, of Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a hit-and-run accident on the 300 block of State Road on Oct. 26 at 5:09 a.m. He was arrested following an investigation, taken to police headquarters where he was processed, issued several motor vehicle summonses with a pending court date, and released to a sober adult.

Johanna Gonzalez, 35, of Hamilton Township, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $190 out of Princeton Municipal Court following a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker on the 300 block of North Harrison Street on Nov. 1 at 8:58 a.m. She was taken to police headquarters, where she was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons and released on her own recognizance.

Adam Miller, 31, of Freehold, was found to be a wanted man by the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office following a civil dispute on Linden Lane on Nov. 1 at 9:58 a.m. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and turned over to the Sheriff’s Department.

Two passengers were charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop for unclear plates on the 100 block of State Road at 10:35 p.m. on Nov. 1. Isaac Reeves, 21, of Hillsborough, and 22-year-old Jordan Matthew, of Princeton, were both arrested and taken to police headquarters, where they were processed, issued complaint summonses with pending court dates and released.

Winston McFarlane, 30, of Trenton, was found to have an active warrant for $250 out of Trenton Municipal Court after a car he was a passenger in was involved in a minor accident on the 300 block of Alexander Street at about 4 p.m. on Oct. 31. He was taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released after posting his bail.
