Elections 2016: No Slates for Princeton Democratic Primary

The four candidates are running on their own merits, and won't show support for any one of the other candidates.

Princeton, NJ -- Princeton Democratic Committee Chairman Peter Wolanin told the Princeton Packet he feels slates in primaries are bad for voters. It won’t be an issue this year, as the four candidates in the Democratic Primary have not established alliances.

Princeton Councilwoman Jenny Crumiller and candidates Tim Quinn, Letitia Fraga and Anne Neumann are running for the Democratic Party’s nominations in the November elections for two council seats.

The winners of the primary are expected to run unopposed in the Nov. 8 general elections, as no Republicans have filed to run this year. June 7 is the primary date, and final opportunity for candidates to file petitions to run a third-party campaign.
