Emergency Bridge Repairs In Princeton Begin Tonight: Police

Work will last 24 hours a day until work is complete.

PRINCETON, NJ — Emergency bridge repairs in Princeton will begin Friday night, Nov. 3, police said on Friday. Emergency repairs to the bridge near the D&R canal between Princeton and West Windsor will begin Friday evening, and work may have an impact on the evening commute.

Repairs will take place due to structural issues, according to the Princeton Police Department. The contractor will have flaggers alternating traffic through the work zone. Drivers should expect delays in the area and use Harrison Street, Washington Road or Quaker Road as alternate routes.

Work will take place 24 hours a day until repairs are finished.
