Repairs on the bridge over the D&R Canal are scheduled for early in the week.

PRINCETON, NJ — The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will perform emergency repairs on the bridge over the D&R canal next week, according to the Princeton Police Department. Work will take place from Monday, Feb. 28, through Wednesday, Feb. 28, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

There will be alternating traffic across one lane of the bridge while divers work on the supporting structure in the canal during that time. Drivers should expect delays when traveling through the area, and use South Harrison Street, Washington Road or Quaker Road as alternate routes.
