Campaigns of Clay and Caucus: Socio-political and Artistic Inferences of Classic Maya Feasting Pottery

Dorie Reents-Budet, Museum of Fine Arts Boston and the Smithsonian Institution, will deliver a lecture in conjunction with the special exhibition Dancing into Dreams: Maya Vase Painting of the Ik’ Kingdom.


A reception celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15–October 15) will follow in the Art Museum from 6:30–9:30 p.m. Enjoy refreshments, tours of the collections, and free salsa lessons.
