Childs, professor emeritus in the Department of Art and Archaeology, will deliver the keynote lecture, “How Vivid Is the Joy in Strangeness,” for the opening of City of Gold: Tomb and Temple in Ancient Cyprus. A reception celebrating the fall exhibitions season will follow in the Art Museum.
