Fire Displaces Several Residents In Princeton: Police
The number of injuries and cause of the fire were unknown Wednesday night.

PRINCETON, NJ — A fire at a multiple unit residential building on Billie Ellis Lane left a number of residents displaced Wednesday night, according to the Princeton Police Department. The fire was reported just after 9 p.m.
The number of injuries and cause of the fire remained under investigation, but Planet Princeton reported on Thursday morning that one person was killed in the blaze at the affordable housing apartment complex owned by Princeton Community Housing. The person has not been identified.
A spokesperson for the Princeton Fire Department wasn't immediately available Thursday morning, but more information about the fire was expected later in the day.

The Red Cross was on the scene assisting with temporary shelter, according to the police department. Princeton University Tiger Transit system buses transported a number of displaced residents to the court room at the Princeton Municipal complex.
Fire companies from Princeton, Lawrence, Lawrence Road Princeton Plasma Physics, Kingston, Princeton Junction, Hopewell Township, Montgomery and Plainsboro are on the scene, along with Princeton Police, Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad, Signal 22 Canteen and Capital Health System Paramedics.
