Forgery, Aggravated Assault: Princeton Police Blotter
Police received a report that business checks worth $33,873.31 was forged on two occasions. The bank transaction was canceled.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police Blotter dated July 7 had the following reports:
July 5, 08:20 p.m. a Cuyler Road resident reported that their robotic lawnmower, valued at $700, was stolen from the front of their residence by an unknown individual.
July 8, 12:10 p.m., following a theft investigation, a 66-year-old Lawrenceville resident was placed under arrest for theft. During the course of the arrest, the man spat on the arresting officers. He was taken to PPD Headquarters where he was processed and was found to have an active warrant out of Moorestown Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500. He was later released with appropriate charges.

July 9, 5:15 p.m., a caller told police that an unknown man shoplifted several items from a retail establishment on Nassau Street totaling $125 in merchandise. The suspect then left the area.
July 10, 10:44 a.m., a 33-year-old Princeton woman told police she was involved in an incident in Princeton. Following an investigation, it was revealed that the statements provided by the woman were fictitious and as a result the woman was placed under arrest, taken to PPD Headquarters where she was processed, charged accordingly and released.

July 13, 12:33 p.m., a person reported that their bicycle and bicycle lock were stolen from a bicycle rack located on N. Harrison Street by an unknown individual. The value of the stolen items totals $310.
July 14, 8:47 p.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Spring Street, a 35-year-old Willingboro resident was found to have an active warrant out of Robbinsville Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.03. He was placed under arrest, taken to PPD Headquarters where he was processed and released with a new court date.
July 14, 10:48 a.m., police received a report that unknown individuals stole one of the business’ checks and forged it on two occasions. The total of the attempted transactions was $33,873.31. However, the victim was able to contact their bank to cancel the transactions and suffered no monetary loss.
July 14, 1:44 p.m., police were told that an unknown individual forged and cashed several checks resulting in a total loss of $3,939.58.
