PRINCETON, NJ — Debbie Bronfeld, who served nine years on the Princeton Public Schools Board of Education, has been named president of Princeton Mobile Food Pantry. She succeeds Amy Lansky.

She credited Lansky with transforming the Princeton Mobile Food Pantry from a grassroots volunteer effort into a financially stable nonprofit since taking leadership in 2021. Under Lansky's tenure, the organization moved four times and achieved 501(c)(3) status.
"Amy's leadership and vision have continued to support the pantry, as demand for our services has grown exponentially over the past five years," Bronfeld said in a statement.

Lansky said she leaves confident in the organization's future under new leadership.
"I step down secure in the knowledge that the Pantry will continue its good work under the leadership of Debbie and our dedicated board, along with the hard work of our loyal volunteers," Lansky said.
The organization also announced several board changes. Jackie Swaine, the first fundraising director, is stepping down along with Sharon Litvinsky and Annie Haan. Maria Palmer and Terri Pessutti will serve as new fundraising directors. Jen Bolcoa will serve as secretary, and Lisa Robinson as director of drives and packing logistics.
Founded in 2010 by Liliana Morenilla, the organization began when a Princeton Public Schools parent and employee noticed food insecurity among students and began distributing healthy snacks from her car trunk. The organization now delivers fresh produce, protein and household staples to the doorsteps of more than 300 families.
