Fraud, Warrant Arrest Reported In Princeton

Princeton Police released its latest blotter.

PRINCETON, NJ — Fraud and a warrant arrest were reported recently in the Princeton Police blotter.

Princeton Police Blotter:

On Feb. 16 at 9:24 a.m.: The victim on Arreton Road reported to police that he received a letter from a debt collection company informing him that he had an outstanding balance of $1,665.98 which was owed to a bank in which he does not have an account. The victim reported that the money owed was the result of a fraudulent transaction that he did not authorize. The victim did not sustain any monetary loss as a result of this incident.

On Feb. 18 at 10:25 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, the driver, Michael Smith, 23, of Palmyra, was found to have an active ATS Warrant for $1,500 out of the Burlington City Municipal Court. Smith was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, and processed accordingly. Smith was released on his own recognizance pending a new court date.
