Fugitive From Mercer County Arrested In North Jersey: Sheriff
Joseph Faustin Jr. was arrested without incident on Thursday.

A fugitive out of Mercer County was arrested without incident in a home in Bloomfield, Essex County, earlier this week, according to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph Faustin Jr., 23, was arrested by members of the Mercer County Sheriff s Office and the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force on Thursday, Oct. 26.
He was arrested on active warrants issued by the Trenton Police Shooting Response Team for two counts of criminal attempted homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon (handgun), and related offenses.

The warrants stemmed from a shooting that took place on Camden Street, between Passaic and West Hanover streets in Trenton on Sept. 10.
“Our collaboration with the US Marshals Service and Trenton Police enables us to positively locate and capture dangerous fugitives wherever they run and hide,” Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler said. “This apprehension marks just one of many successful criminal arrests made by our joint task force this year.”
