Grant Applications for Mercer County Historical Organizations Are Available

Grant applications are available online.

Application forms and guidelines for Mercer County’s 2016 Mercer County History Regrant are now available online.

These grants, made available through a partnership between the NJ Historical Commission/Department of State and Mercer County’s Cultural and Heritage Commission, offer support to County-based nonprofit historical societies, history organizations, local government entities, schools, libraries and other nonprofits in the County offering local history programming and events.

Both General Operating (GOS) and Special Project (SP) grants are available to eligible not-for-profit organizations and historical sites.

Projects to be funded through this round of grants must take place between Sept. 1, 2015, and Aug. 31, 2016. Deadline for submission of the grants is June 30, 2015.

County officials are encouraging organizations to review the online guidelines for information on eligibility requirements.
