Guardrail Repairs In Princeton Thursday: Police

Part of Quaker Road will be closed during repairs.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Mercer County Department of Transportation (DOT) will be making emergent repairs to the damaged guardrail near the D&R canal, according to the Princeton Police Department. This will require the closure of Quaker Road at Mercer Street from about 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21.

The closure will only impact traffic heading out of town. Traffic must proceed to Province Line Road to make a left to head to Nassau Park. It will be allowed to flow into town on Quaker Road from Quakerbridge Road (Route 1). Traffic should plan to access the Updike Farm via the Quakerbridge Road side.
