Heroin Mill Discovered After Mercer County, N.J. Woman Shot In Head
The investigation led the officers to Brittney Holt, 24, from Trenton, who was admitted with a gun-shot wound to her head.

Treating a Mercer County woman who was shot in the head led to the discovery of a New Brunswick heroin mill with lots of cash, and 1,200 “decks” of the drug, police said.
The investigation into the shooting of Brittney Holt, 24, of Trenton, led to the raids at 289 and 291 Seaman Street on Nov. 25, police said. The shooting took place one day earlier, in front of 291 Seaman Street.
The search of 289 Seaman Street led to eight arrests and the seizure of approximately 1,200 decks of heroin, $6,500 in cash, and a large amount of drug paraphernalia consistent with the makings of a “heroin mill,” or a drug manufacturing facility, police said.

The investigation led the officers to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where Holt was admitted with a gunshot wound to her head.
Holt was dropped off at the hospital by someone driving a white Nissan, which then fled the area. New Brunswick police officers were quickly able to locate the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle refused to cooperate with investigating detectives.
