Volunteers may work 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM or 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM – or the entire session. We will train you. Volunteers participate as often or as little as they prefer.

Where We’re Located
The Kidsbridge Tolerance Museum is located in the Ewing Senior & Community Center at 999 Lower Ferry Rd in Ewing, NJ. The building is easily accessible from I-95 and has free parking.
When we need volunteers
The Museum is open to groups by appointment only, so you would volunteer as your schedule permits when we have schools or groups visiting. A typical museum visit is four hours in length and often takes place during the week between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Occasionally there are weekend sessions.

What does it look like?
Elementary, middle and high school students rotate in small groups, participating in small group discussions lead by a trained docent. In the afternoon portion of the day, students either perform conflict resolution skits with puppets (younger grades) or draft action plans / create anti-bullying games to take back to their school (older grades).
Would you enjoy this?
Come observe museum alive with kids with no obligation. If you feel you are a good fit with the Kidsbridge mission, vision and values and you think you’d like to teach, Kidsbridge will train you to become a docent in order to lead small group discussions.
