PRINCETON, NJ — New signage was installed along Witherspoon Street in the first phase of the “Making Witherspoon” initiative.

The initiative is a collaboration between the municipality’s Engineering Department and Princeton University Office of Community and Regional Affairs, Office of Communications, and Facilities Organization.

The goal of “Making Witherspoon” is to inform residents and visitors about the construction project currently underway along Witherspoon Street between Nassau Street and Green Street, including the amenities that will be created as a result of the construction. The initiative will also provide information on the project schedule.

The “Making Witherspoon” initiative is a complement to the “Pop Into Princeton” marketing effort of the Princeton Merchants Association, the University said.

The first phase of the project involves the installation of window posters and lamp pole banners between Nassau Street and Paul Robeson Place, and sandwich board signs.
