Man Charged In Knifepoint Robbery In Mercer County: Police

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Trenton man has been charged with robbery and kidnapping after he robbed another man at knifepoint and forced him to withdraw money from an ATM, Trenton police said.

Raheem Biddle was charged with robbery, kidnapping, and multiple weapons offenses, authorities said.

On July 4, at approximately 12:30 a.m., a man was walking home from his workplace in the area of W. Front Street, when Biddle approached him from behind. He asked the man to hand over all his money and forced the man at knifepoint to walk to two nearby ATMs and withdraw funds, police said. Biddle then fled on foot.

Detectives obtained video footage from Santander Bank, which captured the incident.

On July 9, at approximately 9:50 p.m., officers found Biddle near Barrack Street and West State Street with a kitchen knife with a shiny metallic blade and black handle.

Biddle was arrested without incident and charged.
