Man Who Was Not Wanted In Church Resisted Officers: Police
Princeton police release their activity report.
PRINCETON, NJ — A 45-year-old man was arrested for sleeping in a Princeton church after he was previously told he wasn’t welcome there, according to police.
Juan Guerra was arrested and charged with defiant trespass and resisting arrest after he was found sleeping in St. Paul’s Church on Nassau Street on Sept 12, according to the Princeton Police Department. Guerra was previously told he was persona non grata from that location, police said.
When police attempted to make him leave, they say he resisted, and they arrested him. Guerra was processed at police headquarters and released with a pending court date.

The item was released as part of the Princeton Police Department’s activity report posted on the town’s website. All incidents are merely accusations, and those accused are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty. Other incidents reported are as follows:
A woman told police that she paid a computer company $200 to fix her computer remotely, but it never did. However, the company told police they don’t offer remote services for fixing computers.

A cell phone that had been left outside a store on Witherspoon Street while charging was stolen sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Sept. 11.
