Mercer County 2021 Elections: How To Participate In Early Voting
Early voting for the General Election will be available from Oct. 23-31. Here's how it will work in Mercer County:
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — The biggest change to the elections this year is in the realm of early voting. New Jersey passed legislation in March to enact in-person, early voting available throughout the state for the general election.

The state will see early voting for the general election from Oct. 23 to 31 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

What Is Early Voting?
Early voting is an opportunity for those who haven't requested a mail-in ballot before Election Day. The new option will use electronic poll books and new voting machines to provide voters with access to their ballot at various locations.

Those who participate in early voting won't be allowed to send a mail-in ballot or vote in person on Election Day.

When And Where Can I Vote Early?
Based on state guidelines, there are eight early voting locations in Mercer County. Here are the locations:
- East Windsor: Mercer County Library-Hickory Corner Road (Meeting room), 138 Hickory Corner Rd, East Windsor 08520
- Ewing: Element Hotel Ewing Princeton (Conference room), 1000 Sam Weinroth Rd East

- Lawrence: Mercer County Library-Lawrence (Meeting room), 2751 Brunswick Pike, Lawrence 08648

In-Person Early Voting Poll Location information is regularly being updated by the state.
Can I Choose Other Voting Options?
Yes, voters who applied for a mail-in ballot may vote by mail. Voters may also cast a ballot in person at their local polling station on Election Day, Nov. 2.
