Mercer County Man Found Dead With Gunshot Wounds: Prosecutor
Hamilton resident Dashawn Womack was found dead in a parked vehicle on Rosalie Avenue, officials said. The investigation is ongoing.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Mercer County authorities are investigating a shooting in which a Hamilton Township man was found dead in a parked vehicle with two gunshot wounds, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said Monday.
Around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, Hamilton patrol officers found a man dead in a parked vehicle on Rosalie Avenue, adjacent to Victor Avenue. The victim, identified as Dashawn Womack, 39, suffered two gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, Onofri said.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are investigating the shooting.
