Milling And Paving To Impact Princeton Traffic This Week

Work begins on Tuesday and is likely to run through Friday.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Avenue will be closed beginning Tuesday for milling and paving, Princeton Police said Monday afternoon. The road is expected to be closed from May 9-12, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day. Northbound through traffic on Mt. Lucas Road will be detoured on to Herrontown Road.

Princeton Avenue Residents on the Montgomery Township side will have limited access, and should expect delays, according to the Montgomery Township website. Emergency vehicles will have access. Princeton Avenue will be blocked at Route 206, Dunn Way, Mt. Lucas Road, Blue Spring Road, and at the Van Horne Brook.

One day of pavement striping will be scheduled at a later date. This may result in a road closure. Blue Spring Road residents will have access and egress from Kingston-River Road at all times. All questions should be directed to the Montgomery Township Engineering Department at 908-359-8211.
