Woman Killed After Being Hit By Several Vehicles On Rt. 1: Police
The driver attempted to help the woman, but before he could do so, other vehicles hit her, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Trenton woman, riding a mini motorized bike, was killed after being struck by a car and then run over by several other vehicles on Tuesday night, West Windsor police said.
The woman was first struck by a Ford driven by a North Brunswick man on Route 1 near Buffalo Wild Wings at 10:40 p.m., according to West Windsor police.
The driver immediately pulled his vehicle on the shoulder and attempted to aid the woman, but before he could get to her, other vehicles hit her, police said.

Only one other person who struck her, a Trenton resident driving a BMW, pulled over and waited for police to arrive, authorities said.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene at 11 p.m., police said.

According to the police, the woman was dressed in dark clothing and her minibike did not have any lights.
Route 1 was closed for around four hours, with NJ Dot assisting with road closures and detours in the area.
