Multiple Car Burglaries Reported In Princeton Area

PRINCETON, NJ — Multiple car burglaries have been reported in Princeton causing police to remind residents to lock their vehicle doors and to take valuable belongings out of the car.

"Princeton and surrounding jurisdictions have been experiencing a number of vehicle burglaries," Princeton Police Department said on Friday.

All of the reported burglaries in Princeton were from unlocked vehicles, police said.

"On Oct. 10 and 11 we had reports that three vehicles on the 200 block of Gallup Road were entered and one vehicle on the 900 block of Mercer Road was entered. All of the vehicle burglaries occurred in the overnight hours of Oct. 9 going into Oct. 10 from unsecured cars parked in driveways," Patrolman Jennifer Gering said.
