NJ Woman Killed After Thrown By Motorcycle, Hit By Car On Route 1
The woman died after a crash on a New Jersey highway.

A 42-year-old woman has died after she was thrown from a motorcycle and then hit by a car on a New Jersey highway, police said.
The unidentified Ewing Township woman was a passenger on a 1990 Honda CBR motorcycle at about 11 p.m. on Friday when the motorcycle lost control and crashed in construction on Route 1, West Windsor police said.
The woman was thrown from the motorcycle and was injured, but she continued standing in the road when she was struck by a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis, police said.

The woman was transported to Capital Health System where she died from her injuries. The 52-year-old motorcyclist from Hamilton Township was treated at Capital Health, police said.
The driver of the Grand Marquis, a 30-year-old woman from Trenton, was not injured.

US Route 1 south was closed in the area of the crash for approximately four hours. The entire incident is still under the investigation of the Mercer County Prosecutors Office and the WWPD Traffic & Detective Bureaus.
