NJ's Best Public High Schools: How Do Princeton Schools Rank?

PRINCETON, NJ - Princeton Public Schools is among the best in the state. So how do they compare to the rest of the country?

Niche.com just released its annual rankings of the best public high schools in the U.S., and New Jersey is well represented at the top of the list. Read more: NJ's Best Public High Schools: 2022 Rankings Released

Fourteen New Jersey schools made it into the top 100 best public high schools in the nation, and Princeton High School was ranked No. 66. The high school got an overall grade of A+.

The website also released state-by-state rankings, which includes a breakdown of the best public high schools in New Jersey.

The top award went to High Technology High School in Lincroft, followed by Bergen County Academies in Hackensack.

Princeton High School was ranked No. 9 on the best public high schools in New Jersey list. It also ranked No. 17 of 422 in the state for best public high school teachers.

Niche's 2022 rankings factored in academic and student life data from thousands of schools across the country. The most important factor was academics, but Niche also looked at culture and diversity, teachers, clubs and activities, sports, and more. You can read more about Niche's methodology here.
