Now Hiring for a New Position: Development Coordinator, American Repertory Ballet

American Repertory Ballet, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, is hiring for the newly created position of ”Development Coordinator” to play a vital role in the organization’s fundraising efforts that support the programs of American Repertory Ballet, Princeton Ballet School, DANCE POWER and other educational initiatives.  

The ideal candidate is a trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented team player with excellent skills in communication (oral and written) and relationship building, and a demonstrated fundraising interest.   S/he should be an enthusiastic, outgoing self-starter who can successfully manage multiple deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and embrace technology.  A commitment to the performing arts and a passion for ARB’s mission is a necessity. The position requires tact and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Primary responsibilities include: coordinating “Annual Giving” campaigns, coordinating the planning and execution of fundraising events, assisting in the grant application process, updating development records, tracking gifts and coordinating relevant correspondence, managing databases, and providing support for development committees and activities. Position requirements are as follows: a Bachelor’s degree or higher; 3-5 years related work experience; outstanding written and oral communication skills; demonstrated attention to detail;ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously and to meet tight deadlines and deliver under pressure; excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills; knowledge of nonprofit fundraising operations; experience/excellent track record in: event planning, database management, online giving and individual donor cultivation, grant-writing and grants management; and a passion for American Repertory Ballet and Princeton Ballet School’s mission and programs.
