Paul Adezio Tagged As New Mercer County Counsel
Adezio succeeds the retiring Arthur Sypek Jr.

Hamilton Township resident Paul Adezio has been named Mercer County Counsel, county officials announced on Wednesday. Adezio succeeds the retiring Arthur Sypek Jr. Adezio, who has served as Deputy County Counsel since May 2014, begins his new role on Feb. 1, 2018. Lillian Nazzaro, of Hopewell, will become the Deputy Counsel.
“It has been a privilege working with Arthur Sypek, and I am confident that Paul Adezio, with his knowledge and experience, will be an excellent chief legal adviser who will effectively lead a very capable staff,” Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes said.
"I am grateful to County Executive Hughes for this appointment,” Adezio said. “I look forward to continuing to provide Mr. Hughes and his administration with sound legal counsel, consistent with that which Mr. Sypek provided on a daily basis."

Prior to serving as Deputy County Counsel, Mr. Adezio was Hamilton Township’s Municipal Attorney for eight years. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Arizona; a juris doctorate from Widener School of Law; and Master of Laws degree from Georgetown University Law Center. He and his wife, Suellen, live in Hamilton and have a son, Derek.
