Paving Work For 3 Nights In Princeton: Police
Work continues Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.

PRINCETON, NJ — Paving work will continue Tuesday night in Princeton and last for the next two nights, police said Tuesday evening. Sections of Alexander Street and University Place in the vicinity of Princeton Station and McCarter Theater will be closed for overnight paving work between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Tuesday night and Wednesday night, and between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday night.
There will also be daytime work on the curbed island on Alexander Street near the Wawa from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Access to Princeton Station, the Princeton Station parking lot, Princeton University West Garage and local businesses will be maintained during the closure. However, there will be detours posted as the paving progresses.

Parking on sections of University Place, Alexander Street and adjacent to Princeton Station will be closed for the duration of the project to permit the milling, paving and striping work to proceed.
Drivers should seek alternate routes or allow extra time for navigating the area. If driving in the project area, drivers should follow posted detour routes and obey the "no parking" signs.
