Milltown Man ID'd As Pedestrian Fatally Hit By Train
The pedestrian was fatally hit by an NJ Transit between Princeton Junction and New Brunswick stations on Monday night.

PRINCETON, NJ — The identity of the pedestrian who was fatally hit by a train on Monday night near Princeton has been released by NJ Transit.
Robert D. Twist III, 41, of Milltown was identified as the pedestrian killed, NJ Transit spokesman Jim Smith said Tuesday.
At about 7 p.m. on Dec. 10, the Northeast Corridor train 3870, which left Trenton Transit Center at 6:28 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive at Penn Station New York at 7:43 p.m., struck and fatally injured an adult man near the Jersey Avenue station, Smith said.

There were about 200 passengers and crew on board with no reported injuries to any of them, Smith said.
New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.

As a result of the crash, the Northeast Corridor Line train service had a 90 minute delay in both directions. It was later cleared that night.
