Police Help Find Missing Man After Canoe Flips Over
The 42-year-old man went missing after his canoe flipped over at Turning Basin Park over the weekend.

Police were able to help find a 42-year-old man after a canoe containing him, a 40-year-old woman and their small child flipped over over the weekend.
Princeton Police, West Windsor Police, and the Princeton First Aid Water Rescue Unit responded to Alexander Road at Turning Basin Park for an overturned canoe in the Delaware-Raritan Canal on Saturday around 5:06 p.m.
A 40-year-old woman told them her canoe flipped over. She, her husband and their small child were in the canoe at the time.

The woman and the child were able to get into a friend’s canoe and paddle to shore. The man was able to turn the canoe upright and get in, but had lost his way while paddling back to shore.
West Windsor Police were able to find the man a mile away from Turning Basin Park.

All three were reportedly uninjured and refused treatment at the scene.
