Police Will Conduct Directed Traffic Enforcement In Princeton February
Residents will see an increase in police presence on some Municipal streets.

PRINCETON, NJ — Back in December, Princeton Police conducted directed traffic enforcement on Municipality streets.
They will continue to do so in February as well.
Beginning Wednesday, the Traffic Safety Bureau along with the Patrol Bureau will conduct directed enforcement on the following streets:

- Witherspoon Street (speeding)
- Nassau St & Bayard Lane (traffic signal violations)
- Washington Rd at D&R Canal Bridge (overweight trucks)
- Jefferson Rd & Mt. Lucas Rd (speeding; stop sign)
Witherspoon street has lowered its speed limit from 25 mph to 20 mph. On Jan. 23 Council passed an ordinance regulating speed limits on Witherspoon Street and John Street. More: Council Passes Ordinance Limiting Speed On Princeton's Witherspoon St.
Residents will see an increase in police presence in these areas with strict enforcement.
