Political Rival Believes Princeton Mayor Emails Part of Campaign
Councilwoman Jo Butler believes Liz Lempert's municipal updates are part of an election campaign, according to the Princeton Packet.

Princeton Councilwoman Jo Butler sees Mayor Liz Lempert’s municipal updates she began sending via email in January as a sign she’s decided to run for office in 2016, the Princeton Packet reports.
Butler, a political rival, just isn’t sure which one.
Lempert is up for re-election in 2016, but hasn’t said whether she will run. She’s also said she’s not interested in running for higher office, despite her family’s political background, according to the report.
The emails she began sending in January include positive messages about her and Princeton, according to the report.
All six members of Council are Democrats, but they are split along old Township and Borough lines, making the Democratic Primary the most hotly contested race in Princeton annually.
