Power May Not Return Until Monday In Princeton

Princeton is still recovering from Tropical Storm Isaias with more than 40 streets affected by downed trees and wires.

PRINCETON, NJ — The aftermath of Tropical Storm Isaias continues to wreak havoc in Princeton. Thousands of residents, who lost power Tuesday, are not expected to have it restored until Monday and many downed trees and wires still need to be cleaned up.

The town hit the hardest by outages in Mercer County is East Windsor with 7,337 followed by Hamilton with a total of 5,573.

PSE&G is reporting a total of 22,019 Mercer County residents are still without power as of 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Power is not expected to be restored until Monday at 3 p.m., according to PSE&G.

JCP&L is reporting 10,847 Mercer County residents remain without power as of 8:05 a.m. on Wednesday. There is no estimated restoration time given.
