Pregnant Woman Killed In Afternoon Shooting In Mercer County: Police

Manei Glover was killed and two other people were injured during the shooting, which happened in broad daylight.

A 22-year-old woman who was pregnant was gunned down in Trenton while she sat in a minivan with three other people on Thursday, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and the Trenton Police Department.

Manei Glover was pronounced dead shortly after the shooting, which took place at about 1:43 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, according to police. An autopsy performed on Friday confirmed that Glover was pregnant at the time of her death.

Two other people were also shot, but they weren’t killed, police said. A 48-year-old man was shot in the hip and a 74-year-old man was shot in the neck.

In addition to the four people in the minivan, a fifth person was standing near the driver’s door at the time of the shooting, police said. The shooting occurred when another vehicle pulled up alongside the minivan and the people inside fired multiple shots.

A possible suspect vehicle, which was previously reported stolen, has been recovered by police, but no arrests have been made.
