Princeton ArtWalk Returns On Thursday

Princeton ArtWalk, which highlights the rich array of visual arts resources available in downtown Princeton, will return on Thursday, March 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. 

Ten local art venues, anchored by the Princeton University Art Museum and the Arts Council of Princeton, will be open to the public free of charge.

Venues include: Arts Council of Princeton’s Paul Robeson Center, Bernstein Gallery of the Woodrow Wilson School, Cranbury Station Gallery, Firestone Library, Historical Society of Princeton, Labyrinth Books, Lewis Center for the Arts, Morven Museum and Garden, Princeton Public Library, Princeton University Art Museum and Small World Coffee. 

The community is encouraged to enjoy arts-related events and activities, as well as music, entertainment and refreshments.

Princeton ArtWalk, began through a series of conversations between the Princeton University Art Museum, the Arts Council of Princeton and the Princeton University Library. The idea was to introduce visitors to arts in Princeton located within easy walking distance. Hundreds of visitors have  participating in these free, self-guided explorations.

“ArtWalk continues to grow and evolve as a magnet for drawing visitors to downtown Princeton and discover the many rich and varied visual art offerings available within easy walking distance,” said Princeton University Art Museum Director James Steward.
