Princeton BOE President Won't Seek Re-election: Report

Patrick Sullivan told the Princeton Packet this week that he won't seek a third-term in office.

PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Board of Education President Patrick Sullivan’s term is reportedly coming to an end.

Sullivan told the Princeton Packet he won’t seek another term in office. He told the newspaper he “believes in term limits,” and that it's “time to let someone else do this job.”

He was first elected to the board in 2012, and was re-elected in 2015.

Sullivan made his announcement this week, a little more than a month before the deadline to register in this year’s school board elections. The deadline is July 30.

Vice President Betsy Baglio and Board Member Dafna Kendal are also up for re-election. Election Day is Nov. 6.
