The owner of Amigo Taxi made his case against unlicensed companies serving Princeton, according to Planet Princeton.

The owner of Amigo Taxi made his case to Princeton Council to see services such as Uber banned on Monday night, Planet Princeton reports.

Specifically, he targeted unlicensed taxis operating in town, which charged about 30-60 percent less than what licensed companies charge, according to the report.

Uber is a company based in San Francisco that receives requests via smartphone app and sends those requests to their drivers in the area.
