Princeton Chef, Restaurant Owner Nominated For Culinary Arts Awards
The Garden State Culinary Arts Awards announced their nominees on Monday.

PRINCETON, NJ — Two people from Princeton have been nominated for Garden State Culinary Arts awards.
Scott Anderson, the Head Chef at Elements and Mistral in Princeton, has been nominated for Outstanding Chef, the Garden State Culinary Arts Awards announced on Monday.
Nominees are chefs who have been working in a professional capacity in New Jersey for at least five consecutive years, whose accomplishments have served to inspire, educate and set standards in both the state and the industry. He is one of 10 chefs nominated for this year’s award.

Adam Rechnitz, the owner of Triumph Brewing Company in Princeton and Rutt’s Hutt in Clifton, has been nominated for the Garden State Culinary Legend Award.
Nominees are food professionals, institutions or restaurants with a rich, storied history of high standards, commitment, accomplishment and influence. The contributions of the person, place or institution to the culinary arts in New Jersey must have affected residents in positive ways for at least 10 years.

The winners will be selected by 100 independent judges, including journalist, food writers, cookbook authors and other experts. Finalists will be announced in April, and winners will be announced in May.
