Princeton Council to Consider 20 Percent Raise For Recreation Director

The proposed increase is to keep him from taking a position in Colts Neck.

Princeton Council will vote on a proposed 20 percent increase in pay for Recreation Director Benjamin Stentz at the next council meeting, the Princeton Packet reports.

Officials will consider giving Stentz a raise to $124,000 a year, up from his current $103,440 salary, according to the report. The pay raise has been proposed to keep Stentz from taking a position in Colts Neck, Monmouth County, but didn’t specify how they came up with the exact amount of the raise, according to the report.

Stentz grew up in Princeton, and began working in the Recreation Department in 2000, according to the report.
