Princeton Council to Consider Avalon Bay Settlement Monday Night

A settlement between Avalon Bay and Princeton is the only item listed for tonight’s council meeting, 6 p.m. in the main council room.

Council will meet in a closed session at 6 p.m., with the regularly scheduled meeting set to begin at 7 p.m.

Avalon Bay has reached an agreement with Princeton to build 280 residential units on the old hospital site, the Princeton Packet reports.

The agreement is pending council approval.

Avalon Bay filed a lawsuit against Princeton in May to protest additional town-mandated environmental testing, according to the report.
