Princeton Council to Consider Two Ordinances for D'Ambrisi Property Project

Council meets Monday night in council chambers, 7 p.m.

Princeton Council will consider two resolutions concerning the D’Ambrisi property when it meets Monday night, 7 p.m. in council chambers.

In November, Princeton entered into an agreement with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the Mercer County Friends and the Friends of Princeton Open Space in the acquisition of the property, owned by Frances D’Ambrisi and located adjacent to Princeton Battlefield Park.

The agreement includes the demolition and removal of structures on the property and dam repair.

One ordinance calls for Princeton to purchase and indemnify the property so it may proceed with demolition work and dam repair.

The other ordinance authorizes Harris Surveying Inc. to locate and establish a driveway easement for no more than $2,000.
