What Did You Think of the Tigers' Heartbreaking Season-Opening Loss?

The Princeton University Tigers started strong against a tough opponent in their season opener, but they weren't able to hold on in a 29-28 loss to Lehigh over the weekend.

The Tigers jumped out to a 23-3 halftime lead behind touchdowns from junior quarterback Quinn Epperly, senior wide receiver Roman Wilson and sophomore running back DiAndre Atwater. Epperly ran for a 4-yard touchdown and connected with Wilson on a 5-yard pass in the first half.

However, Lehigh rallied in the second half with four touchdowns to stun the Tigers and improve to 3-0.

Atwater's second touchdown in the fourth quarter gave Princeton the lead at 28-23 with just over eight minutes left in the game, after the Tigers had fallen behind by one.

However, Lehigh had one more score left, a 1-yard run by Sean Farrell to claim the victory.

Atwater's touchdowns came on runs of 18 and 17 yards, and he collected a total of 100 yards on the ground. According to goprincetontigers.com, it's the first 100-yard rushing performance for Princeton since 2011.

The Tigers were 5-5 last season, and believe they can win the Ivy League this season. What are your thoughts about the season after the first game?
