Princeton High School Principal Search To Begin Over Summer: District
The school district has released a survey for the community and hopes to make an appointment by the end of August.

PRINCETON, NJ – The search for the next principal for Princeton High School will begin over the summer with inputs from the community, the school district said.
During Thursday’s Board of Education meeting, interim Principal Kathie Foster’s tenure was extended and she will remain in the position through Aug. 31.
The position will be posted on the district website and promoted widely through existing educator recruitment networks, the district said.

The district said it was hoping to hire the new principal by the end of August.
“We recognize that the search for a new principal is important to our entire community. Our goal is to find an exceptional candidate who will lead Princeton High School for many years to come,” Board of Education President Dafna Kendal said in a statement.
As an initial step in the process, the school district is seeking the community’s input regarding the characteristics that are most critical in the next principal of PHS. To this end, they have released a survey. Using responses from the survey, the district will screen and interview candidates.
Current Princeton High School students, parents, employees and residents of the Princeton and Cranbury communities can complete the brief survey. There are around 11 questions in the survey that asks respondents to rate characteristics they feel are important in the next principal. There is also a section to provide additional feedback and comment.
