Princeton Home Burglarized, $11K Stove Stolen
A Princeton local was also charged with driving while intoxicated following a crash in town, police report.

PRINCETON, NJ — A home burglary was reported in Princeton where an $11,000 stove was stolen, police report.
On Jan. 31 at 4:19 p.m.: A 100 block of Littlebrook Road resident reported that an someone broke into the unoccupied home, causing $5,800 in damage and stole a Wolf brand stove valued at $11,000 as well as lock box valued at $40.

On Jan. 31 at 10:07 a.m.: Scott Kopitskie, 46, of Lawrenceville was stopped on Hutchinson Drive for using a handheld device while operating a motor vehicle. Subsequent to the stop, Kopitskie was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released with a summons and pending court date.
On Feb. 1 at 11:56 p.m.: Ranjet Singh, 25, of Parlin was stopped on Wiggins Street for failure to keep right and was found to have an active traffic warrant out of South Brunswick Township for $500. Singh was placed under arrest and later released after a friend posting his bail in full.

On Feb. 3 at 2:18 a.m.: Patrols responded to a single vehicle crash on Hamilton Avenue. The driver, Phillip Heucke, 23, of Princeton was ultimately placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. Heucke was later released with several summonses and a pending court date to a sober adult.
On Feb. 4 at 11:16 a.m.: A Wiggins Street resident reported that they were defrauded out of $500 when they fell victim to a scam. The actor claimed to be the victim’s boss and used a fraudulent email address to deceive the victim.
On Feb. 4 at 10:14 p.m.: Patrols were notified of a stolen vehicle alert via a LoJack scanner in the area of the 400 block of N. Harrison Street and Terhune Road. The vehicle, a 2016 Toyota Corolla stolen out of Plainsboro Township, was located in the parking lot of a medical office building. The vehicle was towed back to Plainsboro Police Department.
