Princeton Local Charged With DWI
A Princeton local also reported a phone scam where the caller pretended to be her nephew and needed money, police said.
PRINCETON, NJ — Princeton Police reported making multiple arrests recently including a town local for driving while intoxicated.
On Sept. 20 at 12:50 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on University Place, Emily Pelz, 27, of Princeton was found to be driving while intoxicated. Pelz was processed and released with a future court date.

On Sept. 13 at 6:48 p.m.: A Carriage Way resident reported she received a telephone scam stating her nephew was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident and needed money for attorney fees. The victim realized the call was untrue and did not suffer any monetary loss.
On Sept. 13 at 10:15 p.m.: A Library Place resident reported someone altered one of his checks which resulted in a monetary loss of $8,500.

On Sept. 13 at 12:24 p.m.: As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street, Francis Amsden, 42, of Trenton provided officers with a false name and date of birth and was found to be a wanted person out of Pennsylvania.
On Sept. 14 at 11:05 p.m.: As a result of an anonymous caller for a suspicious vehicle on Princeton Avenue, Jacob Keleman, 21, of Larchmont, New York was found to be in possession of marijuana under 50 grams and drug paraphernalia. Keleman was processed and released pending a future court date.
On Sept. 19 at 11:21 a.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on Route 206, Ronald Weathers, 46, of Wrightstown was found to have two outstanding warrants for a total of $1,750. Weathers was processed and released with future court dates.
On Sept. 20 at 3:16 p.m.: Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop on University Place, Irina Nino, 41, of Hamilton was found to have an outstanding warrant from Ewing Township Municipal Court. Nino was processed and turned over to the Ewing Police Department.
